CareerWise Greater Buffalo, an initiative of Say Yes Buffalo, is helping to bring to fruition the vision for a more equitable and thriving Western New York economy through an exciting Modern Youth Apprenticeship Program. The earn-and-learn model offers eligible seniors from participating Buffalo Public Schools the life changing opportunity to earn a family supporting wage, learning alongside seasoned professionals while also receiving related classroom instruction from our postsecondary education partners. At the completion of the multi-year program, apprentices earn a certificate, and they are ready to step into full time roles in in-demand, high growth positions in Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, Business Operations, Culinary, Financial Services, Information Technology, and more- creating options for students and a new, diverse talent pipeline for employers.
