NCEE brings together policymakers, youth, educators, business, communities, and other partners to discover, design, and deliver high performing education and workforce development systems, focused on young people furthest from opportunity. Bringing our globally recognized research to bear, we help partners construct and implement trajectory-altering policies and practices that integrate career-connected learning K-12 in new approaches specific to their context and by anticipating the future. Examples include: Helping states and rural communities address students' access to employers for internships and prepare students for global/remote work; creating policies and incentives that break gender/race patterns related to aspirations and pathways; designing enabling conditions for career-connected learning through efficient, effective and coordinated use of time, staffing and partnerships; and designing and providing professional learning systems for new types of instructional practices for career-connected learning.
