Urgent, Inc. is a Miami-based creative youth development nonprofit with a 30-year history of empowering young people to transform their lives and communities through the arts, media, and entrepreneurship. We operate across four interconnected program areas: afterschool and summer enrichment, high school internships, apprenticeships for emerging creatives, and Urgent Academy—Miami’s first micro middle school focused on film, arts, culture, and entrepreneurship. These programs form our FACE pathway, designed to nurture creativity, career connected learning, and community leadership. From an early age, we create a continuum where young people can discover their passions, sharpen their skills, and step confidently into civic and economic life.
